Hello…again,

let’s catch up…I’m finding it hard to belief it’s been nearly 4 years since I last did a post!

I’m working full-time with Natasha on Natasha Makes, which is a truly all consuming job. I design a new quilting project for a show most weeks, or demonstrate a pattern by another designer to show off a new fabric collection. My demonstration day is usually a Wednesday, which has become affectionally know as ‘Stitchy Witchy Wednesday’, but the day can be changed and this week it’ll be doing my show on Monday (22/01/24) I’m still teaching at The Corner Patch, which is great fun.

I also help with the picking and packing of the orders that come into the warehouse and help with customer services too. I love this job, but quite often feel I might meet myself coming back!

In the 4 years since we did the first show on Natasha Makes, we have had two warehouse moves, Natasha has experienced a divorce and a house move. Staff have come and gone, but we have a strong core with Natasha’s infectious enthusiasm keeping us going, Gemma and SJ busily working in the background to keep the business moving forward.

I have become a granny, with the arrival of my beautiful grand-daughter Iris being born in March last year… it’s hard to believe she’s nearing her 1st birthday.

Iris

My goal this year is to post more often and share some of my makes with you (let’s hope I can manage more than every 4 years!!).

Until then stay safe and keep crafting,

  1. Jane you are amazing. Congratulations on the arrival of your beautiful granddaughter. Aren’t grand children just the best thing since sliced bread. Keep doing what you do. Love you for it. My life has been So busy this last 12 months. I’m hoping I have more time to join in the show and do some sewing. 🤗❤️💙🐝

  2. Thank you for the catch-up Jane. I still watch you and Natasha each week, although sometimes on catch-up. Always a pleasure to watch yourself and Natasha, not forgetting Gemma and SJ, and enjoy the demos. Sewing Quarter is now longtime past, but memories all the same. Stay well, keep on sewing……. 3. Hi Jane I am so pleased you are doing so well and are OK. I used to watch you on Sewing Quarter and I also enjoyed your makes and how easy you made quilting look, as I was then a beginner. Thank
you for the post and look forward to hearing from you again in the future.
